Every piece we make is one of a kind. We pour epoxy resin around hand-selected live-edge wood and finish each piece by hand in Santa Fe. You choose the size, wood, resin colors and finish, and we bring it to life.
From charcuterie boards and wall art to coffee tables, dining tables, bar tops and conference tables: big or small, we build it all.

About Us
After 25 years of working for the state government, I retired with a desire to do something completely different: to work with my hands, create something meaningful, and pursue a passion I had discovered along the way. That journey eventually led me to epoxy resin and live-edge woodworking.
What started as a creative outlet quickly became a true passion. I love taking a beautiful piece of naturally shaped wood, highlighting its unique grain and character, and combining it with vibrant pigments and crystal-clear resin to create something that is completely one of a kind.
But Refined Nature of Santa Fe is more than just a furniture business. It's a family collaboration. My son and I built the business together, combining two very different talents. I handle the hands-on side of the work: selecting and preparing the wood, building the forms, pouring the resin, sanding, shaping, and finishing each piece. My son brings his creativity to the photography and video side, capturing the process and sharing the satisfying transformation of raw wood and resin with the world.
Together, we've created a business that blends nature, craftsmanship, creativity, and family.
Every piece of live-edge wood has its own story. The knots, cracks, grain patterns, and natural imperfections are what make it special. We enhance those natural characteristics with stunning colors, flowing resin, and careful craftsmanship to create furniture and artwork that is meant to be noticed and enjoyed.
For us, the goal isn't simply to build a table. It's to take something beautiful from nature, refine it through craftsmanship, and create something that can become part of someone's home for years to come.
